RECEPTION/SECRETARY
Supervisory Relationship
Employed by the North Bay Indian Friendship Centre, responsible to the
policies and directions by the NBIFC Board of Directors and under the direct
supervision of the Executive Director or designate.
Role: Provide administrative support to core
operations and to Friendship Centre Programs.
Main Duties
- Greet members and clients and direct appropriately
- Preparing monthly Board packages
- Maintain rental inquiries
- Prepare correspondence requested by Executive
Director
- Draft any job postings required
- Organize file system
- Sort outgoing and incoming mail
- Record staff meeting minutes and prepare for
circulation
- Other related duties
Qualifications
- Must be minimum 1st yr.
College
- Must have excellent
communication skills; oral & written
- Must possess strong
interpersonal skills
- Must have knowledge in
office procedures and office equipment
- Must have working
competencies in the following computer software applications
- MS Word
- MS Excel
- Ms Power Point
- Internet Explorer
- Must have a valid Class “G”
License
